FAQs

Do I have to pay for support?

Bradford RESET is a free service.

I’ve seen other programs supporting people causing domestic abuse, is yours different?

We are a new service tackling the epidemic of domestic abuse seen across the UK including Bradford. Bradford RESET is a new service drawing on what works. We use highly trained case workers for people causing harm and separate support for their whole family. Bridge leads this service in partnership with Create Strength Group.

How long does your support last?

People can stay with us until their ready to leave. We fit our support around your day or evening hours.

What type of support do you offer?

It starts with conversations about you, what’s happening in your life and how you feel about it. At the beginning we offer 1-to-1 support, with options to join group work programmes in person or online or continue 1-to-1 support. These programs range from one off workshops to a 21-week program. They are tailored to your needs and cover skills for living and wellbeing. They address your unmet needs underlying behaviours and root causes of domestic abuse that help you achieve lasting change.
